Lavoro come PR. When I’m not geeking out about Italian, I work as a publicist, and the tricks of my trade are pitching and relationship building.
If I wanted to talk about this in Italian, I would use the exact same expression: i trucchi del mestiere
Here’s how you can use that in real life:
Posso farcela ora che conosco i trucchi del mestiere. - I’ll succeed now that I know the tricks of the trade.
Quando abbiamo fatto una lezione su come fare la pizza, abbiamo imparato i trucchi di un pizzaiolo. - When we did a pizza lesson, we learned the tricks of a pizza maker.
Or you could put it a different way: Ho acquisito molte capacità durante il mio tirocinio. - I gained a lot of skill during my internship.
Rispondete se avete delle domande!
Un abbraccio,
Cher
