When Giano from Cosa mangiamo oggi? tries his panino from All’antico vinaio -- l’inferno* -- he says, “Il mio è da urlo.”
This expression makes me smile. The word “urlo” comes from the verb “urlare - to yell.”
It’s SO good that you want to yell about it.
What else can be “da urlo”? So many things. Ecco alcuni esempi.
Il suo fisico è da urlo. - His body is out of this world.
Ho avuto un weekend da urlo. - I had the BEST weekend.
Il suo outfit è da urlo! - Her outfit is incredible.
What’s one of your favorite foods that’s “da urlo?” Scrivetemi!
Un abbraccio,
Cher
*P.S. L’inferno ha la porchetta toscana con cremina piccantina, verdure alla griglia, e rucola fresca.
P.P.S. BUON NATALE!! TANTI AUGURI A TUTTI :)
