Con il cambio di stagione, ci viene ricordato dei progetti che vogliamo finire, le persone a cui teniamo e con cui vogliamo connettere, e le abitudini che vogliamo costruire.
Insomma, abbiamo l'opportunità di riprometterci di fare qualcosa un'altra volta.
“Ripromettersi” significa “to recommit” e può anche significare “to intend to.”
Ecco alcuni esempi:
Mi sono ripromesso di scrivere un libro. Scriverò mille parole ogni giorno. - I’ve recommitted to writing a book. I’m going to write one thousand words each day.
Mi sono ripromesso di studiare l’Italiano. La mia meta è quella di aumentare il mio vocabolario.- I’ve recommitted to studying Italian. My goal is to grow my vocabulary.
Mi sono ripromesso di andare in palestra almeno quattro volte ogni settimana. - I’ve recommitted to going to the gym at least four times every week.
Mi riprometto che passerò più tempo con la mia famiglia. - I intend to spend more time with my family.
Ci ripromettiamo di usare i nostri cellulari di meno. Passiamo troppo tempo su Instagram! - We’re recommitting to using our cell phones less. We spend way too much time on Instagram!
