Scommetto che avete pensato ad almeno tre modi quando avete letto quello, e lo so perché ho fatto la stessa cosa quando l’ho scritto, ahah.
Si può dire:
Penso
Credo
Secondo me
Mi sembra
E così via… ma la frase che credo che vi piacerà di più?
MI SA.
Sì, quello consiste del pronome indiretto “mi” e la terza persona, coniugazione singolare del verbo “sapere - to know.”
Si traduce approssimativamente come “I guess” or “I think.”
Ecco tre esempi:
Mi sa che Antonio arrivi presto. - I think that Antonio will arrive soon. (YEP, you use the subjunctive mood because it’s an opinion.)
Questo tour sarà senz’altro il migliore, mi sa. - This tour will be the best one yet, I think.
Sono già le venti… mi sa che Robert non verrà a cena. - It’s already 8pm… I guess Robert isn’t coming to dinner.
