Whenever an Italian asks me what's going on with me, the first phrase that comes to mind is "Ho la testa altrove", which means "My mind is somewhere else".
In case that's you as well, pensavo che fosse divertente condividere altre frasi su come esprimere lo stato di avere la testa altrove.

#1: Avere la testa altrove - To have your head somewhere else
CPF: Notice here that it isn't LA MIA testa. It's just "la testa", and that's because you don't have to use a possessive pronoun with your own body parts.
#2: Avere la testa tra le nuvole - To have your head in the clouds
#3: Sognare ad occhi aperti - To dream with open eyes; to daydream ;)
#4: Non esserci con la testa - To not be with the head; to not be focused
#5: Andare in bambola - To fall apart at the seams
