From the 4th to the 11th June we will be in Pisa, a lovely compact city with a lot more than the Field of Miracles. This will be our first trip to our beloved Italy since 2019. We used to try to visit twice a year when possible. We were aiming to visit all the regions of Italy and had spent time in more than half of them, following the Slow Tourism model and engaging with local people and businesses whenever possible.

Io e mia moglie andremo tra 3 settimane a Roma e Sicilia. Mia moglie seguirà un corso di lingua italiana per un mese a Roma. La accompagnerò per le prime due settimane. Io esplorerò durante la giornata e ceniamo dopo i suoi studi

Mio marito ed io stiamo visitando a Paestum in Italia! Primo a Paestum, siamo stati a Napoli per tre giorni e poi a Vico Equense per un tour linguistico per una settimana. Era fantastico! Abbiamo fatto una lezione ogni giorno e quindi un attività nella zona - una barca a Procida, una lezione di cucina, una passeggiata nella montagna. Dopo a Paestum, andremo a Corleto Perticara, una cittadini in Basilicata dove i miei bisnonni sono nati e sono sposati. Non vedo l’ora vedere la terra di miei genitori!
Returned last week from a trip that included a couple days in Sperlonga and a week driving around Sicily. Sicily is beyond fantastic. So many incredible things to se, the food is amazing, and the people are sooo friendly. Also, not as crowed as many other places in Italy. Going back in July to spend two weeks in the Dolomites. Very lucky to be able to do this. My increasing ability to speak Italian provided opportunities to talk to people that don't know English.
Any and all suggestion you might have about Noto, Siracusa and even up to Catania and ETna greatly appreciated. This is our first trip to Sicily although we've been to Italy, Amalfi coast and points north to the alps and dolomites, often. Gracie Mille

Abbiamo viaggiato a Sorrento/Pompeii e Paestum, e poi abbiamo guidato per andare a trovare i miei cugini a Vico del Gargano in Puglia, poi abbiamo guidato a Orvieto e finalmente un giorno a Roma prima di il nostro volo a casa. Una vacanza fantastico!

Friendly reminder to all the folks going to Sienna for the Palio. Take lots of water, wear a sun hat and don't block anyone's view. The Italians get very testy cause lots of money bet on the race. I'm sure you will take a camera. The colours are magnificent.

a fine giugno si parte per Milano, Montachino e Roma per festeggiare i nostri 50 anni. Sono molto entusiasta di tornare a Roma, in realtà, mi godo la città.

June 16-July 14, will be in Milano and Liguria to see my husband’s family. First time back since Jan. 2020! I’m also going to take the CELI 3 in Milan!!! Sto studiando motto in questo periodo!
July 13 -25, Sud Tyrol, Alps and Dolomites, first Sarantino at Terra and then to Alpe di Suisi. In September we go to Sicily, Costa Saracena then Noto and places around both. Super excited as always at staying at Terra, hiking and enjoying the magic of the place from the natural environs to the unique place Heinrich and Gisela have created.
Noto is such a beautiful city. We were lucky enough to be taken there by the Sicilian friend we were staying with. Your holiday sounds wonderful! Enjoy!
