After bringing la mia stellina Chiara into the world, my day was filled with all kinds of new vocabulary and phrases related to babies. 

That meant learning a slew of new vocabulary in Italian.

So, if you’re a new parent that wants to chat with Italian friends or tutors about this huge transition in their lives, this article is for you.

But! Even if you don’t have kids and have no plans to have them, you can still learn something new. I’ve included nine questions that you can ask new parents so you can make small talk with them as well.
